Starting at 4 p.m., Sunday May 16 at Annie’s Attic in Prescott, the Tsunami on the Square event plans to hold a large fundraiser for this year’s upcoming Tsunami scheduled for June 19.

In response to the disastrous earthquake that devastated the island of Haiti in January, Campus Crusade for Christ put on a fundraiser in April to contribute to the relief efforts.

“In my sociology class we talk a lot about race and ethnicity as a social construct,” says Jennifer Jacobson, professor of sociology at Yavapai College, in regard to the art exhibit on display in the second floor hallway of Yavapai’s Building 3. “I was looking for another way to represent that.”
